My father-in-law is looking for a series of books or videos or (ideally) some kind of training software that'll teach him how to do various and sundry computer tasks. He'll glaze right over if it tries to tell him about 0s and 1s and buses and gigahertz and blah blah -- he just wants something that says "to send an e-mail you do blah and blah" and then follows up with questions to reinforce it. So he wants things like e-mail, word processing, web searching, etc. Obviously I'm also encouraging him in the Mac way (he's sick of viruses), so having this stuff for OS X would be ideal. 3:45:29 PM ()

Bro Chris encountered this strange World o' Warcraft graphics glitch where I showed up in my cheetah travel form while riding on my tiger. It didn't look this way on my screen, but I had just died recently while running away in cheetah form, and had been far away from him, so I'm guessing he had some weird cached state that didn't get updated properly. 1:38:28 PM ()
