Young Hozhed Submission Guidelines

Themes for upcoming YH issues include travel and toys. We will also accept the usual suspects (see below), and our slush pile is always open.
If we use your stuff, you will get credit, fame among your fellows, a spiffy printed copy of the issue and a random cool thing to be determined by editorial fiat.

The Usual Suspects

Send us your:
 
Features and Rants up to 7000 words
Letters (to the editor or our columnists, Ariel, Ms. Kit, or Fred)
Fake Ads concept-only or camera-ready. Real ads will 
be accepted at the discretion of the editors.
We're starting a personals section too, for everyone
who is bored reading the ones in your local papers.
Artwork send query first.
Fiction up to 9000 words, any genre except horror
Reviews of books, music, theme stuff, zines. relating to theme preferred. 
No Poetry
We prefer electronic submissions, but if it needs to go snail-mail, e-mail us for the appropriate address.
Acceptable formats include ASCII (plain text), Microsoft Word and RTF (MIME attachments are fine, BINHEX are not). If you are going to send something larger than 1/4 MB, please warn us first! Please let us do the formatting, and single-space after periods if you can (otherwise our layout queen gets cranky.)
