I took down almost all of the content here. At some point, I will start a political blog. I post sometimes over at Lone Star Democracy Builders. In the meantime, per Mom's request, the wishlist is current.

Things that I do or have recently done

Studying
I graduated with a BA in government with highest honors from the University of Texas of Austin, where I helped run the Women's Resource Center and establish the Gender and Sexuality Center. I will return to UT this spring to pursue my MPA from the LBJ School.
Politics
I helped get Mark Strama elected to the Texas House. As of January 1, 2005, I'm Vice President for Communications of Texas NOW. I'm working on being part of a progressive resurgence in Texas. More as things develop.
Writing
Writing is one of my defining passions. I do a lot of it. Some of it has been published. I may be one of the only people who has ever accidentally been published in the Pflugerville Pflag under her boss's name. I'm especially proud to have had an essay published in the Seal Press anthology Young Wives' Tales: New Adventures in Love and Partnership.
