We watched The Time Machine and Resident Evil tonight. The Time Machine was the shell of a decent movie, and had some very nice visual design, but the editing was really abrupt. It felt like it needed another half-an-hour or so to fill in a bunch of things like, oh, I don't know -- character development?

Resident Evil remains one of the best movie adaptations of a video game ever, although I admit it can be an acquired taste. Just like brains. Pesky zombies. And their fucking zombie dogs...  11:01:23 PM  (comments [])
