Dylan invited me to do a little photo safari adventure at the Mills Pond park near his home. I got quite a set of pictures; here are some of my favorites:

Technical note: I picked up a 2x teleconvertor and took these pictures using it combined with a Canon EOS 70-200mm/f4. This was a pretty inexpensive way to double the zoom capacity of my lens, and while there was some loss of sharpness on some shots, I still got a pretty fair number of crisp images. I mean, sure, I'd love to have a bunch of prime lenses of different sizes, but the teleconvertor was (relatively) cheap and extremely portable, and made the 70-200 that much more versatile.
