I'm in Sacramento for the next few days, and it turns out my dad no longer has a cable modem at his house. So I'm reduced to occasionally scrounging connectivity off one of the two phone jacks in the house. It's a nice house, Dad, but jeez, what's up with the phone jack situation!? :)
I'm also now deeply regretting my clever plan to only take the cord that connects the camera directly to the computer, instead of the USB2 CF reader. It turns out to take a while to transfer 512MB of pictures over USB1. D'oh! 10:50:07 AM ()
