Finished Jedi Knight II. Loved it. Loved it!
Sure, there were a few nits I could pick, but this game is an outstanding example of the first person genre. Also, it "felt" lengthier than many recent entries in the field, and yet was so entertaining, that it still felt "just right."
Well worth the price of admission! Congratulations, Raven Software -- you guys are outstanding.
I'll highlight two aspects in particular. First, the lightsaber visual just kicks ass; the thing's glow (and afterglow) is just right. Second, the feel of being a badass jedi, especially as you near the end of the game, is perfect. At the start of the game, walking into a room full of baddies is a pain in the ass (although nothing some heavy weaponry can't solve). By the end of the game, you can walk into a baddie-infested room with nothing but your lightsaber and a smile (so to speak), and between deflecting shots and judicious use of force powers, take them out like nothing. It's hard to describe except that it just feels... right. 7:29:18 PM
