Polpourri
Exhibit A:
Bush: Bring it on!
Iraqi Militants: Um, OK. Since you ask so nicely.
Stupid, arrogant bastard. Easy to make with the macho posturing when you're not the one actually at risk. Which, come to think of it, applies to pretty much all of your policies, foreign and domestic. (See, for example, tax cuts.)
Exhibit B:
Go to Google. Type in "Weapons of Mass Destruction". Hit "I'm feeling lucky". (This worked yesterday, but looks the search results have already shifted: it should have taken you here.)
Exhibit C:
Howard Dean is totally kicking fundraising ass. And now all of his rivals are having to take him seriously. But what they don't understand is that the reason he's appealing is because he's successfully convincing us that he's open and honest and willing to say what he means and take a stand. And NO FUCKING SHIT that that's striking a nerve. This the kind of behavior that four years of watching Jed Bartlet on the West Wing have led us to expect.
Howard Dean has a posse. Howard Dean has a weblog. Howard Dean has a shot, and I hope he shakes some things up, by gum.
Oh, and this quote from the article sums up everything that's wrong with most of the rest of the 'Democratic' field:
An aide to Mr. Lieberman said: "Everyone wants a race against Dean. Everyone has looked at the research, and he looks easiest to bring down. He's positioned himself as a liberal, and liberals don't win here."
